Experiencia negativa: Vivo en un edificio con un piso de co-living gestionado por esta empresa, y es lo peor que nos podría haber pasado como comunidad. Continuas mudanzas, mal uso y destrozo de los elementos comunes, fiestas continuas, muy mal servicio de mantenimiento, no se hacen cargo de los desperfectos en caso de siniestro en otro piso. Aconsejo a las comunidades de vecinos que no permitan que ésta empresa gestione como co-living un piso en su edificio. Se evitarán muchos disgustos.

Experiencia negativa: I found Enso Co-Living through a Facebook ad while planning my move to Barcelona. The video ad looked amazing, very professional and appealing, so I was excited and decided to book right away. I created an account and saw that the room price was €820 per month — already overpriced, but I thought it might be acceptable for Barcelona considering the facilities and services advertised. That’s when the real shock came!!! I discovered that to stay one single month, I would have to pay around €1,566 upfront: • €820 deposit • €300 mandatory “membership” fee • €150 exit fee This is absolutely outrageous. None of this is clearly advertised in the Facebook ad, and it feels extremely misleading. Charging a membership fee just to rent a room, plus an exit fee, on top of an already inflated rent, is unacceptable. In my opinion, this is nothing but a money grab. The pricing structure feels deceptive and predatory, especially for people relocating to a new city who are already under pressure. I’m attaching screenshots as evidence. If you’re looking for a place to throw your money away, this is definitely the right place For everyone else: stay away. I definitely DO NOT recommend it at all.

Reservas una habitacion pagando lo que te piden y después de unos dias de enviarte el contrato te dicen que ha habido un mal entendido interno y tienes que buscarte otra. Tras encontrar otra habitacion y establecer un precio te confirman y el dia siguiente te envían un contrato que está mal. Horas después vuelven a decirte que ha habido un error y que tienes que volver a buscar otra habitacion. A la que intentas negociar con ellos la situacion dejan de responderte. Ahora la reserva está hecha pero no hay ni habitacion ni respuesta.

Experiencia negativa: I cannot recommend Enso. In my experience, they adjust rules in ways that felt unfair and not consistent with what was written in the contract. Before renting my room, I specifically asked about their cancellation policy. Instead of explaining it to me, they referred me to the contract, which clearly states that after giving notice you may move out after 45 days and receive your deposit back. What I was not told is that they apply an internal policy – not mentioned anywhere in the contract – requiring tenants to pay for two full months. As a result, you do not get your deposit back after 45 days, but only after two full months. Had I known this, I would not have rented the room, and I lost €400. I also asked about heating in the common rooms, as the apartment has high ceilings, a stone floor, and some rooms receive no sunlight. I was told heaters could be provided, but when I requested them later – even with written proof – they refused. I even asked only for a bathroom heater, which has little warm water and no sunlight, forcing cold showers. I would not have moved in had I known this. Electricity cuts out multiple times every evening, which is very inconvenient. If we don’t notice it during the night, food in the fridge and freezer can go bad. When I moved in, two girls were living in my room, a flatmate and her friend. They told me that Enso had allowed them to use my room because I was scheduled to move in later, even though I paid for the full month. The room was dirty and sandy, and I had to deep-clean it myself. We are frequently asked to leave positive reviews if we are “happy,” which felt like strong encouragement to boost their ratings. Enso also offered partial rent discount for hosting events. I followed all written rules and should have received €150, but they later decided not to count it due to an internal decision. If they have additional internal criteria, they need to communicate them upfront – they cannot change the rules afterwards. This was poorly communicated and felt unfair. In total, Enso owes me €550. I hope Enso will review my case again, as I believe a fair solution is still possible. Even though there are some nice people and enjoyable events at Enso, the rooms are overpriced and my overall experience was unfortunately not good. In short: I cannot recommend Enso.

Dopo innumerevoli tentativi falliti su altri siti, Ensocoliving è stata una vera svolta. La procedura di prenotazione è stata incredibilmente semplice: ho scelto la stanza e l'ho ottenuta subito, senza inutili difficoltà o attese. Una differenza abissale rispetto alla burocrazia che ho trovato altrove. Inoltre, il rapporto qualità-prezzo è ottimo, specialmente se paragonato ai prezzi esorbitanti che si trovano su altre piattaforme. La stanza corrispondeva fedelmente alle foto, e per quel piccolo dettaglio che non andava, lo staff ha immediatamente rimediato il giorno stesso. Questo dimostra la loro professionalità! Infine, la casa è fornita di tutto punto: in cucina si trova già l'occorrente (pentole, padelle, spugne, panni, stendini, mollette, ecc.). Ti tolgono l'incomodo di dover comprare tutto il necessario per iniziare a vivere! Lo staff è stato eccezionale: estremamente gentile, professionale e soprattutto, ha risposto in modo tempestivo ed efficace ad ogni mia esigenza. Mi hanno letteralmente salvato la vita permettendomi di trovare una sistemazione a Madrid quando stavo per perdere le speranze. Consiglio Ensocoliving a chiunque cerchi una stanza a Madrid con la certezza di un servizio impeccabile!

Le aree comuni sono luminose, arredate con gusto moderno ed essenziale, e allo stesso tempo calde e funzionali. Ci si sente subito a casa. Dal punto di vista organizzativo, tutto è gestito con grande attenzione e professionalità. Gli spazi sono sempre puliti e ben mantenuti, e il team è disponibile, attento e pronto ad aiutarti per qualsiasi necessità. Si percepisce la cura e la passione dietro al progetto: non è solo ospitalità, ma una vera filosofia di vita incentrata sulla connessione, la crescita personale e il benessere collettivo. Assolutamente consigliato!

Experiencia negativa: The worst co-living experience I have ever had. From the start to the finish, there was no proactive effort from ENSO to check in on me as a tenant, my flatmates changed without any information or notice provided to me and so I never knew who was actually my tenant (since June, I am convinced that someone is illegally staying in the flat). This is especially important since they do not provide bedroom locks "fostering community and trust". Even worse, when things went wrong or I needed to reach out, there was no urgency or effort to empathise or support. There is an emergency number that no one really picks up outside their working hours, so its also pointless. When manual keys were replaced by an app-based lock, I was informed of the change on the day the change was happening with no prior engagement or information. Upon mentioning the risk of not being able to access my home in the case where my phone was out of batter, the response I received was "but we have not had any problems yet" until... all of Spain lost electricity and many tenants were stuck outside their homes - including myself. I raised the issue of a secondary option in the community space which caused some commotion. Perhaps this is what they meant by " we will not offer you a contract renewal because you do not fit into the community spirit we wish to build", i.e. we only want people who don't speak up. All in all, this is not a co-living company but a room rental company that only seems to care for profits and not community. All changes are made with operation efficiency and cost effectiveness, with very little regard to the user experience. Only the finance, cleaning and maintenance staff I have interacted with were professional and kind. Actually, decent human beings. Up until my check out, I followed their instructions for returning my manual keys (for which there would have been a €250 fee if I didn't return to them). Their instructions were to book an appointment, even if my last day was the weekend. I did exactly that, went to their office and found myself waiting 60min with no one showing up and no one answering the emergency number. Hours later, I tried calling the emergency number again, at which point someone answered and (clearly acknowledging that they listened to my voice message) instructed me to leave the keys in the mailbox - as if I would have spent my whole day waiting at their office! Zero customer service skills. Zero understanding of humans.

Experiencia negativa: The WORST place and management you can ever find if you are not an EU citizen! This company knows that the rental market in Spain and particularly in Barcelona is very tough for foreign people, so they use it and offer next: 1. You can easily sign the contract for at least 3 months; 2. You do not need to provide a lot of documents for it; 3. You have to pay in advance only the deposit and 1st month of rent. A few important conditions of the contract that you should know before signing this contract: 1. If anybody in your future apartment likes to use a bathroom more than 5 minutes, you and your flatmates will pay for it in proportion to what Enso thinks is correct; 2. You cannot delay your payment for the rent EVEN if you have been paying it properly for 1,5 years, otherwise quote: "you should leave the room today"; 3. They have an exit fee, which means that they will clean your room properly before the next client checks in, and it costs 150 Euros, but guess what - they won't. It will be the standard cleaning that you have during your stay in the apartment, which is included in your rent (basically, they wash floors if you do not ask for something more). ALSO: 1. They do not check an apartment even when you check in / check out, so do not be surprised if you find dirty pillows, a dirty blanket, a mattress with holes from cigarettes, or somebody's stuff in your room. You will figure it out later. 2. Do not be surprised if they tell you that you won't have hot water for 3 days, but you won't have it for 20-30 days, and after they will send you a burger just in case you won't be mad at them. 3. Do not be surprised if their managers make mistakes in counting (if you have any controversial situations), and one of the co-founders starts to he will start threatening you so that you compensate him for the mistake of his managers, because in his opinion this is how business works: his manager made a mistake - you paid. 4. Do not be surprised when they decide to switch lockers on the main door to an electronic one, which works from a mobile connection on your phone, so you cannot come into your apartment if you do not have a mobile connection, or charge on your phone, or blackout comes in the middle of Europe. 5. Do not be surprised if one of your flatmates tells you that in this apartment lived a gay prostitute who invited his clients to the apartment you live in, and you will thank all the gods in the world that it was not in your room. At the end, they keep around 30% or more of your deposit (they don't give a damn about your opinion and whatever you think about it), and wish you luck. So, if you are interested in living in apartments from this sort of company OR you want to be their partner (how is it possible?), good luck with it. Take care of yourself and your closest people!
